Dear friends!
Happy to share with You the good news: June 12 the Day of Russia were successfully held sea trials of the German tank PZ II Aust F, designed for the Military Festival "Battle Field" by Vadim Elistratov.
Tested the following options:
1. The possibility of achieving the maximum design speed;
2. The possibility of overcoming obstacles;
3. The possibility of movement on the highly-rugged terrain.
Along the way I tested:
1. Machine control;
2. Braking;
3. The temperature of the engine and the transmission;
4. The reliability of the chassis;
The result:
Total mileage of the first exit was about two kilometers. The main coating of the track - badly damaged road from concrete plates, and also a ground station and construction debris. Dry.
The maximum speed is reached without problems, stock engine power is sufficient for driving in all modes and in all conditions. Tank easily overcame domerboy a ditch with a muddy bottom, easily passed on a pile of construction debris, moreover, supplemented by a two-foot ruts from construction equipment. Caterpillars without harm to their state grind the bricks, not to mention less strong the debris.
Temperature of the engine during the run remained at the low end of normal, but it was not hot. Testing in the heat will be conducted further.
Noted one drawback - the suspension was too hard, it can be clearly seen on the video. Have to improve the design of the package of springs.
Now begins the process of tuning (adjustment of control rods and adjusting track tensioning, installation of some internal partitions) and underweight. Installation of the wings, mask, gun, observation devices, etc., painting of the tank.
To EOF "Battlefield" 2015 tank will be fully ready!
